"Golpher Makes China Talk"

The following day our whirlwind relations tour (not the professional tour) began. I’d beaten the Premier 2 up and 1 to play in an early morning 9-hole test. Wanting a rematch after our tour, I accepted the Premiers’ itinerary to travel to 10 Chinese cities, and shook hands as we agreed better national relations were around the turn.

“Carry the club Golpher. China people listen. You will not get shaft, here.”
